“If it can be destroyed by the truth, it deserves to be destroyed by the truth.” -Carl Sagan

Welcome to Trivial Truths.

This website is dedicated the pursuit of truth in what I consider to be the most important domains of human thought…philosophy and politics. This website is meant to serve as a repository of my thoughts on a variety of subtopics that I think are worth sharing with others. It is also meant to serve as a medium through which these thoughts can be subject to criticism and accordingly refined (or retired). I really do take the above quote seriously.

As may be obvious, this site is still under construction. It is my intention to gradually fill the site with content. Thank you for your patience.

This site values high-quality content and is always open to feedback and suggestions (of any kind), which can be sent to trivialtruths@gmail.com.

This site is meant to be a place for high-quality discussion on some of the most important topics humanity has ever discussed. In respect of integrity, this site will never censor any comment or ban any user, unless there is legitimate legal reason to do so (like hate speech or a credible threat of violence).

This site will frequently invite users who post particularly insightful comments to be guest authors.

Why did I name it Trivial Truths? I thought it was memorable, ironic, and a pretty cool consonance.
